As a food reviewer of Hunan Cafe, I had the pleasure of visiting Hokkaido Ramen Santouka Robson St and discovering a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Vancouver. Located at 1690 Robson St, this cozy restaurant offers a delightful array of authentic Japanese dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.
One of the standout dishes that I had the pleasure of trying was the KaraMiso Ramen, seasoned with hot spices and miso for a flavorful kick. This dish features egg noodle, pork belly, green onions, black mushrooms, fishcake, and sesame seeds, creating a harmonious blend of textures and flavors.
For those looking for a milder option, the Shio ChaShu Ramen is a must-try, with its creamy soup seasoned with just the right amount of salt. The double portion of pork belly, green onions, fishcake, bamboo shoots, plum, and black mushrooms add depth and richness to this comforting bowl of ramen.
Vegetarians and vegans will also appreciate the Vegan Ramen, featuring KALE noodles in a soy milk and vegetable broth seasoned with white miso. The combination of cabbage, carrot, broccoli, shimeji mushroom, and green onion creates a nourishing and satisfying dish.
In addition to their delectable ramen bowls, Hokkaido Ramen Santouka Robson St also offers a variety of appetizers, rice bowls, toppings, beverages, and beer to complement your meal. Whether you're craving deep-fried chicken, simmered pork jowl, Japanese fried pork dumplings, or a refreshing bottle of Oolong Tea, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Overall, my experience at Hokkaido Ramen Santouka Robson St was truly memorable, and I can't wait to return to try more of their flavorful dishes. If you're a fan of authentic Japanese cuisine or simply looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a satisfying meal, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Love their ramen very much! Everything was just perfect, exactly like the one I had in Japan. The staff were friendly.
This place is small but cute. Very authentic and delicious food, with great service. They had vegetarian options which was good and it’s not too expensive. Great location with some street parking and overall great atmosphere
Excellent ramen restaurant in Robson Street. It’s quite small so we went early (11:30am). The noodles were superb and the pork broth was simply delicious; rich and packed with flavor. I had the spicy Tan-Tan-men. So good! Service is quick and efficient, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. Highly recommended!
